Grey Owl Juniper, a fine-textured North American native evergreen with soft and feathery silvery grayish-blue foliage that stands out in the landscape. It can be trimmed once or twice yearly for a slightly shaggy look or several times yearly for a tighter form. Its soothing foliage color, form, and texture make it an excellent accent specimen in sunny garden beds and containers. Two can be planted in the ground or pots to accentuate and frame an entrance. It can also be used as a home foundation plant. It is hardy and easy to grow in well-draining soil and plenty of sun almost anywhere in the United States, USDA Zones 3-9.
